20 <br />OO NO — ----- — <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GENERAL FUNDS FROM THE <br />COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA IN THE AMOUNT OF $175,000 AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID SUM TO THE FY 2020 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE <br />SERVICES FUND BUDGET FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO EXPAND ACCESS TO <br />MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT FOR OPIOID USE DISORDER. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts general funds from the Commonwealth of Virginia <br />in the amount of S175,000 and appropriates said sum to the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That said funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to expand access to medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. <br />3. That no local match is required in order to obtain said funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund are increased by $175,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 12. 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
