Jg0VU110E WLa9-77 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING PROJECTS FOR ASSISTANCE IN <br />TRANSITION FROM HOMELESSNESS (PATH) FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $3,356 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH <br />AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT <br />IN THE FY 2020 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO <br />ASSIST WITH HOMELESS TRANSITION SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Projects for Assistance in Transition from <br />Homelessness (PATH) funding in the amount of $3,356 from the Virginia Department of <br />Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and appropriates said amount in the FY <br />2020 Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That said funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to assist with transition services for persons who are homeless or in imminent <br />danger of becoming homeless. <br />3. That no local match is required in order to obtain said funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund are increased by $3,356. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 22, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
