The Permittee shall abide by all City street and sidewalk closure requirements and <br />standards. <br />xiii. The Permittee shall work with local businesses or other organizations to promote the use <br />of bicycle helmets by system users through partnerships, promotional credits, and other <br />incentives. <br />xiv. The Permittee shall provide notice to all users by means of signage and through a mobile <br />or web application that: <br />1. Users must use Shared Mobility Devices only in the roadway and where bicycles are <br />currently allowed; <br />2. Users must not ride motorized devices on sidewalks and must yield to pedestrians at <br />crosswalks; <br />3. Users must not ride motorized devices on the Portsmouth Seawall, any bricked portions <br />of the Downtown and Olde Towne Historic District, and any other areas where use of <br />Shared Mobility Devices is prohibited by the City; <br />4. Users must not ride motorized devices at city skate parks; <br />5. Helmets are strongly encouraged for all users, <br />6. Permittee shall prohibit use of Shared Mobility Devices by minors 17 and under and <br />shall provide conspicuous notice of this policy to users; <br />7. Shared Mobility Devices are to stay to the right of street lanes and to offer the right of <br />way to non - motorized bicycles on bike lanes and paths; <br />8. Shared Mobility Devices must be parked only in designated areas, <br />9. Users are prohibited from wearing headphones on or in both ears while riding a Shared <br />Mobility Device; <br />10. Users are discouraged from texting while riding; <br />11. Users are only permitted to ride between Sunrise and Sunset (Dawn to Dusk) <br />xv. Users are discouraged from riding a device under the influence of alcohol; <br />xvi. Permittee shall require riders to submit a photo whenever they park their device at the end <br />of a ride, if possible. <br />xvii. Permittee shall provide education on the City's existing rules and regulations, safe and <br />courteous riding, and proper parking. <br />d. Equitable Access <br />5 <br />
