OQDM 2018 -28 <br />r\ 1� <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $450,000 FROM <br />UNEXPENDED NON - DEPARTMENTAL LINE ITEMS IN THE FY 2018 <br />GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE CITY ATTORNEY LEGAL <br />CONTRACTUAL SERVICES LINE ITEM IN THE FY 2018 GENERAL FUND <br />BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it authorizes the transfer of $450,000 from unexpended Non - <br />Departmental line items in the FY 2018 General Fund Budget to the City Attorney Legal <br />Contractual Services line item in the FY 2018 General Fund Budget for the purpose of <br />paying the cost of outside legal services. <br />2. That expenditures in the Non - Departmental line items in the FY 2018 <br />General Fund Budget are decreased by $450,000. <br />3. That expenditures in the City Attorney Legal Contractual Services line <br />item of the FY 2018 General Fund Budget are increased by $450,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on April 24, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
