Jr DIN 2 �-8 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY <br />PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $700 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2019 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program <br />funding in the amount of $700 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management <br />and appropriates said amount in the FY 2019 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue, <br />and Emergency Services for nuclear accident preparedness. <br />3. That no local match is required for receipt of the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $700. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 25, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
