8-66 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REAL ESTATE TAX OVERPAYMENT <br />REFUND TO DOROTHY S. HUDSON. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 35 -14 of the City Code, it <br />hereby authorizes a real estate tax overpayment refund to Dorothy S. Hudson in the total <br />amount of $3,787.32 plus ten percent interest from the date of the applicable tax <br />payment. <br />2. That the source of the refund is the FY 2019 General Fund. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 24, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
