au 2018 -63 <br />U1�(i �- <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A CREATIVE COMMUNITIES PARTNERSHIP <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,500 FROM THE VIRGINIA COMMISSION <br />FOR THE ARTS AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2019 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MUSEUMS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Creative Communities Partnership Grant in the <br />amount of $4,500 from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and appropriates said funds <br />in the FY 2019 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the grant funds shall be used by the Department of Museums for the <br />Mosaic Steel Orchestra Mosaic Junior program. <br />3. That a local match in the amount of $4,500 is required as a condition of <br />the grant, which match has previously been appropriated in the FY 2019 budget. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $4,500. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 24, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
