2018 -64 <br />.r <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) BY AMENDING <br />SECTION 22 -12 AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 22 -12.1 FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR PARADES AND PUBLIC <br />ASSEMBLIES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Chapter 22 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) be <br />amended and reordained by amending Section 22 -12 as shown on Exhibit A hereto. <br />2. That Chapter 22 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) be <br />amended and reordained by adding a new Section 22 -12.1 as shown on Exhibit A hereto. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately on the date of its <br />adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting <br />held on July 24, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
