AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 10 -105 OF CHAPTER 10 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006), AS AMENDED, <br />TO CHANGE THE VOTING LOCATION FOR PRECINCT NUMBER 22 FROM <br />FORWARD CHURCH TO ST. MARK DELIVERANCE CENTER, LOCATED AT <br />3801 TURNPIKE ROAD, AND TO FORMALLY CHANGE THE NAME OF <br />PRECINCT NUMBER 22 TO "ST. MARK DELIVERANCE CENTER ". <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Section 10 -105 of Chapter 10 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (2006) be amended and reordained as follows: <br />Sec. 10 -105. - Precinct No. 22. <br />The voting place for Precinct No. 22 shall be St. Mark Deliverance Center <br />`' at 38015= Turnpike Road. <br />2. That the name of Precinct No. 22 is hereby formally designated as "St. <br />Mark Deliverance Center ". <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately on the date of its <br />adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on July 24, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
