ORS � 01 2 1 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A VIRGINIA RULES CAMP GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $5,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2018 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR YOUTH <br />OUTREACH. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Virginia Rules Camp grant in the amount of <br />$5,000 from the Virginia Attorney General's Office and appropriates said amount in the <br />FY 2018 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department <br />for youth outreach. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $5,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
