ORDINANCE 11 '2018 -52 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $220 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2018 SOCIAL SERVICES FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR RESPITE <br />CARE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts funding in the amount of $220 from the Virginia <br />Department of Social Services and appropriates said amount in the FY 2018 Social <br />Services Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Social Services <br />for Respite Care. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Social Services <br />Fund are increased by $220. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
