201h-81 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER. $129,290 FROM THE MARKETING AND <br />COMMUNICATIONS CATEGORY OF THE FY 2017 GENERAL FUND <br />BUDGET TO THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND CULTURAL CATEGORY OF <br />THE FY 2017 GENERAL FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it authorizes the transfer of $129,290 from the Marketing and <br />Communications category of the FY 2017 General Fund Budget to the Parks, Recreation, <br />and Cultural category of the FY 2017 General Fund Budget. <br />2. That the source of the transferred funds shall be funds budgeted for special <br />event production costs which were the responsibility of the Department of Marketing, <br />Communications and Tourism at the time of adoption of the FY 2017 General Fund <br />Budget, but which subsequently have been transferred to the Department of Parks, <br />Recreation and Leisure Services. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 11, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
