~ ~~ ,1~~~~ ~;a .2016-74 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $1,910 OF "PROGRAM TO ASSIST IN THE <br />TRANSITION FROM HOMELESSNESS (PATH)" FUNDING RECEIVED <br />THROUGH THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND <br />.DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN <br />THE FY 2017 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO <br />ASSIST WITH HOMELESS TRANSITION SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That the sum of $1,910 of "Program to Assist in the Transition from <br />Homelessness (PATH)" funding received through the Virginia Department of Behavioral <br />Health and Developmental Services is accepted and appropriated in the FY 2017 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That said funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services to assist with transition services for persons who are homeless or in <br />imminent danger of becoming homeless. <br />3. That no local match is required in order to obtain said funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2017 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund are increased by $1,910. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 27, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
