r ~ ~~~~ ~a.~ « 2 -634 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STATE CATEGORICAL AID IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $44,100 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL <br />SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2017 SOCIAL <br />SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE FOSTERING FUTURES PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts State Categorical Aid in the amount of $44,100 <br />from the Virginia Department of Social Services and appropriates said amount in the FY <br />2017 Social Services Fund for use by the Department of Social Services in connection <br />with the Fostering Futures program. <br />2. That no local cash match is required for receipt of the funds. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2017 Social Services <br />Fund Budget are increased by $44,100. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 23, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
