~~ g i '~,' ,,y21~6 - 61 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $382,595 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2017 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />USE BY THE COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR THE <br />VICTIM WITNESS PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $382,595 from the Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services and appropriates said amount in the FY 2017 <br />Grants Fund for use by the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office for the Victim Witness <br />Program. <br />2. That no local cash match is required for receipt of the grant funds. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2017 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $382,595. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 23, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
