', 20'1-56,~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 2.C (BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND REVENUE) OF CITY ORDINANCE 2016-34 <br />TO ADJUST THE REVENUE SOURCES FOR THE FY 2017 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND BUDGET BY DECREASING THE FUND <br />BALANCE LINE ITEM BY $1,073,645 AND .INCREASING THE STATE <br />CATEGORICAL AID LINE ITEM BY $1,073,645. <br />WHEREAS, on May 10, 2016 City Council adopted Ordinance Number 2016- <br />34, the City's Budget Ordinance for FY 2017 (the "Budget Ordinance"); and <br />WHEREAS, Subsection 2.C of the Budget Ordinance identified the revenue <br />sources funding the FY 2017 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Budget; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the Budget Ordinance, review by the <br />Department of Behavioral Healthcare Services has determined that alternative revenue <br />sources are available to replace Fund Balance revenue identified in the Budget Ordinance <br />as funding the Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Budget; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That subsection 2.C (Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Revenue) of <br />City Ordinance 2016-34 is hereby amended to adjust the revenue sources for the FY 2017 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund budget by decreasing the Fund Balance line item by <br />$1,073,645 and increasing the State Categorical Aid Line Item by $1,073,645. <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 9, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
