~'~;~~„~ 2016-36 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $60,000 OF TELEPHONE COMMISSION <br />REVENUE IN THE FY 2016-17 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET FOR USE SY <br />THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $60,000, if and when received from the <br />funding source identified herein, in the FY 2016-17 General Fund Operating Budget for the <br />Sheriff s Office. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used to fund expenses of the Sheriff's Office. <br />3. That the source of the appropriation shall be Telephone Commission Revenue <br />collected by the Sheriff s Office in FY 2016-17. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2016-17 General Fund <br />Operating Budget for the Sheriff s Office are increased by $60,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2016. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on May <br />24, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
