24= -66 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A KIDS MEALS PROGRAM GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $515,160 FROM .THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE <br />CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM ADMINISTERED THROUGH <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />FUNDS IN THE FY 2015-16 GRANTS FUND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a .Kids Meals Program grant in the amount of <br />$515,160 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Care Food Program <br />administered through the Virginia Department of Health and appropriates said amount in <br />the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund for use by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Leisure <br />Services to provide meals and snacks authorized under the said programs. <br />2. That the grant is a reimbursement grant, and no City cash match is <br />required. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $515,160. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 27, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
