201, -6 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $28,750.45 IN THE FY 2015-16 GENERAL <br />FUND FROM THE UNASSIGNED FUND BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF LIBRARIES FOR THE UNIVERSAL <br />SERVICE SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $28,750.45 in the FY 2015-16 <br />General Fund for use by the Department of Libraries for the universal service Schools <br />and Libraries Program. <br />2. That the funding source of the appropriation shall be the Unassigned Fund <br />Balance of the General Fund. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 General <br />Fund Operating Budget are increased by $28,750.45. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED. by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 13, 2015. <br />
