~~yy 2015 S3 <br />U «..., <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE X228,325 IN THE FY 2015-16 PUBLIC <br />UTILITIES OPERATING FUND FROM THE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />UNASSIGNED FUND BALANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND <br />FOR THE REMOVAL OF SLUDGE FROM THE CITY'S WASTE LAGOON. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $228,325 in the FY 2015-16 Public <br />Utilities Operating Fund to fund the purchase of equipment and the removal of sludge <br />from the City's waste lagoon. <br />2. That the funding source of the appropriation shall be the Public Utilities <br />Unassigned Fund Balance. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Public <br />Utilities Operating Fund are increased by $228,325. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 11, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
