'~ 2015-52 ,,; <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR THE ARTS AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />FUNDS IN THE FY 2015-16 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH <br />MUSEUMS TO SUPPORT A CITY CULTURAL ARTS GRANT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $5,000 from the Virginia <br />Commission for the Arts and appropriates said funds in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by Portsmouth Museums to support a City <br />Cultural Arts Grant. <br />3. That a local match of $5,000 or greater has been met by City grants to <br />cultural organizations. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund <br />are increased by $5,000. <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 11, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
