20J5-38 <br />s ~: <br />~e}fir ~ '~':~ <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $28,141 OF FUNDING RECEIVED FROM <br />THE STATE COMPENSATION BOARD IN THE FY 2015-16 GENERAL FUND <br />OPERATING BUDGET TO FUND PART-TIME POSITIONS IN THE <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $28,141 in the FY 2015-16 General <br />Fund Operating Budget for the Sheriff's Department. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used to fund part-time positions. <br />3. That the source of the appropriation shall be funding for part-time <br />positions received from the State Compensation Board. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 General <br />Fund Operating Budget for the Sheriff s Department are increased by $28,141. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2015. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
