201.5-37 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $93,460.78 OF FUNDING RECEIVED <br />FROM THE UNITED STATES DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION IN <br />THE FY 2015-16 ASSET FORFEITURE FUND FOR .THE SHERIFF'S <br />DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $93,460.78 in the FY 2015-16 <br />Asset Forfeiture Fund for the Sheriff s Department. <br />2. That it authorizes the use of the appropriation by the Sheriff's Department <br />for purposes authorized by the Equitable Sharing Guide published by the United States <br />Department of Justice. <br />3. That the source of the appropriation. shall be Asset Forfeiture Funds <br />received by the Sheriff's Department from the United States Drug Enforcement <br />Administration. <br />4. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />5. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Asset <br />Forfeiture Fund Budget are increased by $93,460.78. <br />6. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2015. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
