R-14-27 <br />A RESOLUTION COMMITTING $5,000,000 IN FUNDS APPROPRIATED IN <br />THE FY 2014-15 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND AS MATCHING FUNDS <br />FORA $5,000,000 GRANT IN REVENUE SHARING FUNDS FROM THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TOWARDS <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE REPLACEMENT FOR THE CHURCHLAND <br />BRIDGE (NORTHBOUND LANES). <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that it <br />hereby commits the sum of $5,000,000, previously appropriated in the FY 2014-15 <br />Capital Improvements Fund for bridge maintenance activities, as matching funds for a <br />$5,000,000 grant in revenue sharing funds from the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation towards construction of the replacement for the Churchland Bridge <br />(Northbound Lanes). <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September- 9, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
