R-14-28 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED OR <br />OTHER DOCUMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO CONVEY 700 CRAWFORD <br />STREET (TAX PARCEL 0007-0900) TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City <br />Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to execute such deeds or other documents as may be <br />necessary to convey 700 Crawford Street (Tax Parcel 0007-0900) to the Economic Development <br />Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, said property being generally described as <br />follows: <br />That certain parcel shown on that Boundary Survey of 700-710 <br />Crawford Street prepared by Stephen I. Boone & Associates, P.C., <br />dated October 11, 1999, and recorded in the Portsmouth Circuit <br />Court Clerk's Office at MapBook 1$, Page 45. The said parcel <br />contains approximately 0.9951 acres and is bounded on the east by <br />Crawford Street, the south by Columbia Street, the west by the <br />Navy Federal Credit Union property, and .the north by County <br />Street. <br />ADOPTED at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia held on <br />September 9, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
