~ ~ ~~~~ j~,~ ~ 2014- 0 ,.~, <br />-_ <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA E-911 SERVICES BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT FOR THE WIRELESS E-911 SERVICE PUBLIC SAFETY <br />ANSWERING POINT EDUCATION PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $2,000 from the Virginia <br />E-911 Board and appropriates said sum in the in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the grant will be used by the Police Department for the Wireless E- <br />911 Service Public Safety Answering Point Education Program. <br />3. That no cash match is required for the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund and in the FY <br />2014-15 Operating Budget are increased by $2,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 26, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
