<br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$165,000 FROM THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE <br />SUPREME COURT OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID .FUNDS IN <br />THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND TO BE .EMPLOYED BY THE THIRD <br />JUDICIAL DISTRICT CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE PORTSMOUTH ADULT <br />DRUG TREATMENT COURT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia; <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $165,000 from the Office <br />of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia and appropriates said funds <br />in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund for the Portsmouth Adult Drug Treatment Court Program. <br />2. That no local cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2014-15 Grants Fund are increased by $165,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 26, 2014.. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
