'~ 2014a-, <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $250,487. FROM THE FY 2014-15 <br />UNASSIGNED GENERAL FUND BALANCE TO THE FY GENERAL FUND <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2014-15 GENERAL FUND TO <br />REPAY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby transfers the sum of $250,487 from the FY 2014-15 <br />Unassigned General Fund balance and appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 General <br />Fund. <br />2. That the funds so transferred shall be used to repay the United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for ineligible use. of Community <br />Development Block Grant Program funds in the Cradock Redevelopment Project. <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 General Fund and the FY <br />2014-15 Operating Budget are increased by $250,487. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 26, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
