Zo~~ . <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $365,797 <br />FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND FOR THE SUMMER FOOD <br />PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $365,797 from the U.S. <br />Department of Agriculture and appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund. <br />2. .That the grant will be used by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and <br />Leisure Services for the Summer Food Program. <br />3. That no City cash match is required. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 8, 2014.. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
