ii , 201,4,56.:, ~~ ... <br />..u:.;:~ <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REFUND THE SUM OF $34,529.36 TO COX VIRGINIA <br />TELECOM, LLC d/b/a COX COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, FOR ERRONEOUSLY <br />PAID PUBLIC SERVICE CORPORATION BUSINESS PERSONAL PROPERTY <br />TAXES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 35-14 of the City Code, it <br />hereby authorizes the refund of $34,529.36 to Cox Virginia Telecom, LLC d/b/a Cox <br />Communications, LLC, for public service corporation business personal property taxes <br />erroneously paid as a result of incorrect valuation information from the Commonwealth <br />of Virginia. <br />2. That the source of the refund is the FY 2013-14 General Fund. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 24, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
