"- _. -"'" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$81,116 FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE-BUREAU OF JUSTICE <br />ASSISTANCE AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2013-14 <br />GRANTS FUND TO BE EMPLOYED BY THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT FUNDS FOR TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVES, EQUIPMENT, <br />AND CONTINUED FUNDING SUPPORT FOR THE DRUG COURT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia; <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $81,116 from the U.S. <br />Department of Justice-Bureau of Justice Assistance and appropriates said funds in the <br />FY 2013-14 Grants Fund for technology initiatives, equipment, and continued funding <br />support for the Drug Court Program. <br /> <br />2. That no local cash match is required for the grant. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2013-14 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2013-14 Grants Fund are increased by $81,116. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTEnby the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 24, 2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
