<br />UiUJHWICE HfL.2013-49 <br /> <br />1 A _ _.,.. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 11-5(e) AND APPENDIX A OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) AND TO REPEAL <br />SECTION 11-6(D) OF SAID CODE TO ESTABLISH A NEW FEE STRUCTURE <br />FOR THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That Section 11-5(e) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(2006) be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 11-5. Permits; fees; security for performance. <br /> <br />(e) The applicant shall pay a fee as set forth in Appendix A to this Code for <br />the cost of land disturbing permit processing, permit issuance, and inspections for the <br />following categories: <br />(1) Development of an individual single-family lot involving over 2,500 <br />square feet of land-disturbance. <br />(2) Demolition of a single-family structure involving over 2,500 square feet of <br />land. disturbance. <br />(3) Multifamily residential development. <br />(4) Demolition of multi-family structures. <br />(5) Commercial development and subdivisions involving less than one acre of <br />land disturbance. <br />(6) Commercial development and subdivisions involving one to five acres of <br />land disturbance. <br />(7) Commercial development and subdivisions involving more than five acres <br />of land disturbance. <br />(8) Demolition of commercial structures. <br /> <br />2. That Section 11-6( d) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(2006) and the fees set out in Appendix A thereof pertaining to said Section 11-6( d) are <br />hereby repealed. <br /> <br />3.
