<br />ut{OIHANCE HOJ.Q1j~,?-", <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $323,872 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2013-14 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR THE <br />VICTIM WITNESS PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $323,872 from the Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services and appropriates said amount in theFY 2013-14 <br />Grants Fund for use by the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office for the Victim Witness <br />Program. <br /> <br />2. That no local cash match is required for receipt of the grant funds. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2013-14 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2013-14 Grants Fund are increased by $323,872. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 13,2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
