<br />ORO'NANCE tUl. 2013-3] <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $515,534.45 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2013-14 GRANTS FUND FOR THE 2012 USDA <br />SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $515,534.45 from the <br /> <br />Virginia Department of Health and appropriates said amount in the FY 2013-14 Grants <br /> <br />Fund for use by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Services for the 2013 <br /> <br />USDA Summer Food Program. <br /> <br />2. That the grant is a reimbursement grant, and no City cash match is <br /> <br />required. <br /> <br />3. That the FY 2013-14 Operating Budget and estimated revenues in the FY <br /> <br />2013-14 Grants Funds are both increased by $515,534.45. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br /> <br />on June 25,2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
