<br />uROlNAt-iCE NO. ~ 013 - 5 6;~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF $302,640.18 IN THE FY <br />2013-14 OPERATING BUDGET GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />THE CRADOCK BRANCH LIBRARY PROPERTY AT 28 PROSPECT <br />PARKWAY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $302,640. 18 in the FY 2013-14 <br />Operating Budget General Fund for the purchase of real property known as 28 Prospect <br />Parkway in the Cradock section of the City and being more particularly described as Tax <br />Map and Parcel 0411- 0110 in the Office of the City's Tax Assessor. <br /> <br />2. That the property so purchased shall be for the continued operation and <br />use as the Cradock Branch Library. <br /> <br />3. That the source of the appropriation shall be the FY 2013-14 Operating <br />Budget undesignated fund balance. <br /> <br />4. That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into an <br />agreement and to execute any other required documents, under such additional terms and <br />conditions as he shall deem in the best interests of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 12,2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
