<br />OROh~ANCE ND.,~9}.3-52_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A KIDS MEALS PROGRAM GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $349,440 FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE <br />CHILD AND ADUL T CARE FOOD PROGRAM THROUGH THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY <br />2013-14 GRANTS FUND FOR THE 6 TO SIX AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $349,440 from the U.S. <br />Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Care Food Program and appropriates said amount <br />in the FY 2013-14 Grants Fund to support the 6 to Six After School Care Program. <br /> <br />2. That the grant is a total reimbursement grant, and no City cash match is <br />required as a condition of the grant. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2013-14 Operating Budget and in the FY <br />2013-14 Grants fund are increased by $349,440. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the city of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />October 22, 2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
