<br />ORfilKM.cE NO. 20.13 -5..! <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,984 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2013-14 GRANTS FUND TO <br />SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS AND PRETRIAL SERVICES <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $8,984 from the Virginia <br />Department of Justice Services and appropriates said amount in the FY 2013-14 Grants Fund <br />to support operation of the Community Corrections and Pretrial Services Program. <br /> <br />2. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2013-14 Operating Budget and in the FY <br />2013-14 Grants fund are increased by $8,984. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the city of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />October 22, 2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
