<br />tlROINANCE NO~o.~~<:~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE COURTHOUSE GALLERIES AS THE PORTSMOUTH ART <br />AND CULTURAL CENTER AND AMENDING SECTION 19-150 AND APPENDIX A OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) TO IMPLEMENT SAID ACTION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that: <br /> <br />1. The Courthouse Galleries of the Portsmouth Museums are hereby renamed the <br />"Portsmouth Art and Cultural Center." <br /> <br />2. Section 19-150 (2)a and Appendix A of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(2006) are amended to replace the term "Courthouse Galleries" with "Portsmouth Art and Cultural <br />Center." <br /> <br />3. This ordinance shall take effect on January 1,2012. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on November <br />22,2011. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
