<br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE Ntl.~~~:~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A VIRGINIA LITTER AND RECYCLING GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $13,164 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2011-12 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO CONTROL PET WASTE IN PUBLIC PARKS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a Virginia Litter and Recycling Grant in the amount of $13,164 from the . <br />Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and appropriates said funds in the FY 2011-12 Grants <br />Fund. <br /> <br />2. That the grant funds will be used to control pet waste in public parks. <br /> <br />3. That no City match is required to obtain the grant. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2011-12 Grants Fund are increased by $13,164. <br /> <br />5.
