RD. 0'" <br />o ~Itf <br /> <br />CE ~tO~":.~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2009-2010 WASTE <br />MANAGEMENT FUND THE SUM OF $2,844,870 IN PREVIOUSL Y <br />UNAPPROPRIATED REFUSE FEES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $2,844,870 in the FY 2009-2010 <br />Waste Management Fund. <br /> <br />2. That the source of the funds is additional revenues generated by an <br />increase in City refuse fees authorized after the City's budgetary process in 2009 but not <br />appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 budget. <br /> <br />3. That the funds shall be used to pay the increased tipping fee imposed by <br />the Southeastern Public Service Authority for the disposal of municipal waste. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues are increased in the FY 2009-2010 Waste <br />Management Fund. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on March 9, 2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
