<br /> <br />HCE III <br /> <br />2010,ll <br />._.'"~l",:,'(,!'["ji' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $115,000 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEAL TH OFFICE OF <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING THE SAME <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />TWO NEW AMBULANCES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant in the amount of$115,000 from the Virginia <br />Department of Health Office of Emergency Medical Services and appropriates said sum <br />in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />2. That this Grant requires a City match of $127,000 that will be provided <br />from funds previously appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Risk Management Fund. <br /> <br />3. That the grant funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and <br />Emergency Management toward the purchase of two ambulances. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $115,000. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on February 23,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
