<br />ORDINANCE. 2010.:92 <br /> <br />· . ./..t,; <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN AID TO LOCALITIES 2011 GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $285,837 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF FIRE <br />PROGRAMS AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2010-11 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR IMPROVED FIRE SERVICE IN THE CITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts an Aid to Localities 2011 grant in the amount of <br />$285,837 from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs for use by the Department of <br />Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services for improved fire service in the City. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $285,837 is appropriated in the FY 2010-11 Grants Fund, <br />and that estimated revenues in the FY 2010-11 Grants Fund are increased by said <br />amount. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 23,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
