<br />ORDINANCE ..20~O-86" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2010-2011 ECONOMIC <br />STIMULUS FUND THE SUM OF $400,000 RECEIVED FROM THE FEDERAL <br />HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION IN ADDITIONAL AMERICAN RECOVERY <br />AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS FOR AN EXISTING CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO UPGRADE THE CITY'S TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />SYSTEM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts the sum of $400,000 from the Federal Highway <br />Administration in additional American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (A.R.R.A.) funds <br />for an existing capital improvements project to upgrade the City's traffic signal system. <br /> <br />2. That no City monetary match is required as conditions for said funds. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenue in the FY 2010-2011 Economic Stimulus Fund is <br />increased by $400,000, and said amount is appropriated in said Fund. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 26,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
