<br />ORDINANCE' II. 2~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,840 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2010-2011 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY'S EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $43,840 from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management for support of the City's Emergency <br />Management Program, including equipment, supplies, and training. <br /> <br />2. That the grant requires a 1: 1 match ratio and the salary of the Deputy <br />Coordinator of Emergency Management is utilized as the City's contribution. <br /> <br />3. That said funds are appropriated in the FY 2010-2011 Grants Fund and <br />estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $43,840. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 12,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
