<br />OROUtANCE 110. 2010 -7 ~... <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,250 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2010-2011 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE SOUTHSIDE REGIONAL HAZMA T TEAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant in the amount of $16,250 in <br />funds from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management for the Hazardous <br />Materials Southside Tidewater Team for which the City is the lead agency. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2010-2011 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $16,250, and said amount is appropriated in the FY 2010-2011 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />3. That no local match is required for award of the grant funds. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on September 28,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
