'- . <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $317,522 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE <br />SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2010-2011 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE COMMONWEAL TH'S ATTORNEY'S <br />OFFICE FOR THE VICTIM WITNESS PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $317,752 from the Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2010- <br />2011 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />2. That no local matching funds are required as a condition for the award. <br /> <br />3. That the grant funds shall be used by the Commonwealth's Attorney's <br />Office for the Victim Witness Program. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2010-2011 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $317,752. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 10,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />( <br />
