<br />_M.ZOlq-71. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $1,683.50 IN THE FY 2010-2011 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR THE TRAINING OF A POLICE AUTO THEFT INVESTIGATOR. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $1,683.50 from the <br />Virginia State Police and appropriates said funds in the FY 2010-2011 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />2. That the grant funds will be used by the Police Department to defray the <br />cost of sending a detective to attend the 2010 International Association of Auto Theft <br />Investigators training seminar. <br /> <br />3. That no local matching funds are required as a condition of the grant. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenu~s in the FY 2010-2011 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $1,683.50. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 24,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
