<br />ORDINAIIE 10. 2 0 1~5 ~.. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1.4 MILLION IN THE FY 2009-2010 <br />HEALTH INSURANCE FUND FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED HEALTH <br />INSURANCE FUND BALANCE AND AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF $1.5 <br />MILLION FROM THE OTHER POST EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS CATEGORY <br />TO THE HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIMS CATEGORY WITHIN THE FY 2009- <br />2010 HEALTH INSURANCE FUND TO ADDRESS A POTENTIAL SHORTFALL <br />FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates in the FY 2009-2010 Health Insurance Fund <br />the sum of$l.4 million from the unappropriated FY 2009-2010 Health Insurance Fund <br />balance. <br /> <br />2. That it furthermore authorizes the transfer of $1.5 million previously <br />appropriated in the Other Post Employment Benefits category to the Health Insurance <br />Claims category within the FY 2009-2010 Health Insurance Fund. <br /> <br />3. That said funds shall be used to address a potential shortfall in the FY <br />2009-2010 Health Insurance Fund. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Health Insurance Fund are <br />increased by $1.4 million. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 22, 2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
