<br />ORDIIWCE II: 0 1 0::44 .,. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,745,000 <br />FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2009-2010 ECONOMIC <br />STIMULUS FUND FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE HV AC SYSTEM, <br />ROOF, WINDOWS, DOORS, AND CEILING OF THE LAKEVIEW <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $3,745,000 from the <br />United States Department of Education and appropriates said funds in FY 2009-2010 <br />Economic Stimulus Fund. <br /> <br />2. That the grant will be use for the replacement of the HV AC system, roof, <br />windows, doors, and ceiling of the Lakeview Elementary School. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Economic Stimulus Fund <br />are increased by $3,745,000. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 22,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
