<br />__ 11.2010;:.53 ... <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />AGRICULTURE IN THE AMOUNT OF $560,516 AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2010-2011 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION, AND LEISURE SERVICES FOR <br />THE 2010 USDA SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the <br />amount of $560,516 to be used by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Leisure <br />Services for the 2010 USDA Summer Food Program. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $560,516 is appropriated in the FY 201O-2011Grants <br />Fund, and estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $560,516. <br /> <br />3. That no local matching funds are required. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 22, 2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
